Description

Cotton Temple Mosquito Net – Queen, King, Double & Daybed (3 Openings)

The temple is our most versatile design — a decorative canopy with three openings and an elegant pleated cotton ceiling, held square by a strong frame that slots into a sleeve at the top. Suspended from a single ceiling point, it works over almost any bed up to King, as well as daybeds and recliners, transforming a room while giving complete protection from mosquitoes and biting insects when properly hung and the doors fall closed.

Real woven cotton, 256 holes per square inch, run-proof weave — a natural, elegant net built to last for years rather than a season. Because the square frame slides out of its sleeve, the netting is fully machine washable.

Features

  • One versatile size fits most beds up to King, plus daybeds and recliners — over 9 feet of netting.
  • Three openings, fully hemmed with a 1-inch (25 mm) band so the doors fall closed.
  • Strong square frame, supplied, that inserts into a sleeve on top of the net (and slides out for washing).
  • Decorative pleated cotton ceiling.
  • Single point of ceiling suspension.
  • 256 holes per square inch; run-proof weave.

Size

28" / 70 cm square ceiling; 110" / 280 cm high. One size fits most beds and daybeds or recliners up to King. Bed sizes vary — allow for the frame, and size up if unsure.

Installation & Care

  • Single-point ceiling installation; the square frame is supplied. Ceiling hook not included.
  • Machine washable — slide the frame out of its sleeve, then cold machine wash on a delicate cycle, cold hand wash, or dry clean. Line dry, never tumble dry; warm iron if desired. May shrink about 5% in cold water and over 10% if washed hot, so always wash cold.
  • Backed by a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty on materials and workmanship.

Cotton Temple Mosquito Net — Frequently Asked Questions

Last reviewed: August 2026

What is a temple mosquito net?

The temple is a decorative canopy that blends the box and round styles — a square, pleated cotton ceiling held by a supplied frame, three openings, and a single ceiling hanging point. It creates an elegant, structured drape over the bed while keeping insects out.

What size bed does the cotton temple fit?

One versatile size fits most beds up to King, plus daybeds and recliners — it carries over 9 feet of netting. The ceiling is 28" / 70 cm square and it stands 110" / 280 cm high. Bed sizes vary around the world, so allow for the frame as well as the mattress, and size up if you are unsure.

How is the temple different from a round or a box net?

A round net hangs from one point on a circular hoop with one or two openings; a box net hangs from four to six points with four openings and a four-poster shape. The temple sits between them — a single hanging point like a round, but a square frame and three openings for a more structured, decorative look that fits almost any bed.

How do you hang the cotton temple?

From a single ceiling point over the middle of the bed. The square frame is supplied and slides into a sleeve at the top of the net to hold its shape. A ceiling hook is not included; choose one to suit your ceiling type.

Does the cotton temple keep mosquitoes out?

Yes — complete protection from mosquitoes and biting insects when properly hung, as the three doors fall closed and the netting drapes to the floor. The 256-holes-per-square-inch cotton weave is fine enough to keep biting insects out.

How do you wash the cotton temple?

Unlike our round nets, the temple is machine washable — its square frame slides out of the sleeve. Remove the frame, then cold machine wash on a delicate cycle, cold hand wash, or dry clean. Line dry and never tumble dry; warm iron if you like. Always wash cold, as hot water shrinks cotton by over 10%.

Is the cotton temple chemically treated?

No — no insecticide, permethrin or chemical treatment of any kind. It protects purely as a physical barrier of finely woven cotton, reassuring to sleep under night after night, including for children.

What is the temple made from?

Real natural cotton netting with a run-proof weave — 256 holes per square inch — and a decorative pleated cotton ceiling. Genuine woven cotton, not inferior muslin or synthetic polyester, in a natural warm white.

What color is it, and can it be dyed?

It comes in natural warm white. Being real cotton, it takes home dye to a light shade if you would like a different tone.

    Beautiful!

This is a beautiful mosquito net! It is the most expensive one that I found, but once I saw it, I had to have it. I would have given it a 5 star if the price was better. Other than the expensive price tag, it's perfect!
