Crib Netting Baby Mosquito Net — Frequently Asked Questions

Is it safe to use a mosquito net on a baby's crib?

Yes — when properly installed a mosquito net is safe for a baby's crib and highly recommended in areas with mosquitoes or biting insects. Our crib mosquito net hangs above and around the crib without touching the infant. It is made from non-toxic materials with no insecticide treatment — just physical protection from biting insects. Always follow installation instructions carefully and ensure the net is securely fixed.

Does your crib mosquito net contain any insecticide?

No — our baby crib mosquito net contains no insecticide, permethrin or chemical treatment of any kind. It provides protection purely through the physical barrier of fine netting. This makes it completely safe for infants and babies — no chemicals, no pesticides, just natural physical insect protection.

What size crib does your baby mosquito net fit?

Our baby crib mosquito net is designed to fit standard US cribs and infant beds. It is supplied with a clamp-on frame which is attached to the crib frame. Contact us if you have a non-standard crib size and we will advise on the best fit. The net dimensions and installation method are detailed on the product page.

How do you install a baby crib mosquito net?

Our crib mosquito net installs from a mobile arm above the crib. The net hangs down and drapes around the outside of the crib. Ensure the net is tucked securely around the base of the crib and cannot fall into the sleeping area. Full installation instructions are included with every net.

What insects does a crib mosquito net protect against?

Our baby mosquito net protects against mosquitoes and most common biting insects. The fine polyester netting provides a complete physical barrier. In areas with mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue, West Nile virus or Zika, a crib mosquito net is one of the most important protections you can provide for an infant.

Is the baby mosquito net machine washable?

Yes — our crib mosquito net is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle. Dry in shade. Remove any frame or attachment components before washing. Regular washing keeps the net fresh and effective. A clean net also maintains the fine netting integrity that ensures complete insect protection.

At what age can a child transition from a crib net to a bed net?

When a child moves from a crib to a toddler or Twin bed, transition to our Twin and Single range of mosquito nets. Our round net is particularly popular for young children's beds — it creates a magical princess canopy effect they love, while continuing to provide complete insect protection.

This item works great. My 1yr old was getting chewed up at night by mosquitos but this changed all that. I honestly have no complaints, very good product.
