Our amazing popup freestanding mosquito net is full of features and perfect for everyday use. It erects in just seconds and you can use it just about anywhere as it doesn't need external support. This Popup net is floorless so that it can be used over existing bedding and is lightweight and portable. Unique to MosquitoNets this design is adjustable to fit most beds and has a gusset that can be tucked under a mattress. Ideal for temporary insect protection from mosquitoes, midges, spiders and flies over existing bedding!

How does a pop up mosquito net work?
Our pop up mosquito net uses a flexible fibreglass hoop frame that is held compressed inside a carry bag. When released, it springs open into shape over your bed in seconds. To fold it away, you simply twist and fold the frame in the same way as a pop up laundry basket — it takes a little practice the first time but becomes quick and easy.
What size beds does the freestanding mosquito net fit?
Our pop up freestanding mosquito net fits Double, Queen, King and California King beds. It is designed to sit over the mattress and uses the toggled drawstring to adjust for size from Double to King. It is not suitable for Twin or Single beds.
Can a freestanding mosquito net be used while travelling?
Yes — our freestanding pop up net packs flat into its carry bag making it very portable. It is ideal for travel to destinations where you cannot drill into walls or ceilings — hotels, Airbnbs, guesthouses, holiday rentals and resorts. For the most compact travel option, our polyester round travel net is even smaller and lighter.
How do you fold a pop up mosquito net away?
Watch our installation video for a step-by-step demonstration — it becomes very quick once you have done it a few times. To fold the net, lift it off the bed, hold the top hoop and twist it so one side folds down toward the other — the frame collapses into three overlapping circles. Fold the three circles together and slide into the carry bag.
Is the freestanding mosquito net machine washable?
Yes — remove the fibreglass frame before washing. The netting fabric washes on a gentle cold cycle. Dry in shade. The frame itself should be wiped clean with a damp cloth rather than submerged. Reassemble once both are completely dry.
