Full and Double Mosquito Net Bed Canopies — Frequently Asked Questions
What size mosquito net fits a Full or Double bed?
For a standard Full or Double bed (54" x 75") choose our Double/Full sized box net or our standard round net. Both provide complete coverage over a Full or Double mattress with comfortable interior space. Our standard round net fits Twin, Full and Single beds and is a popular choice for its simple single-hook installation.
What is the difference between a Full and Double bed?
Full and Double refer to the same bed size — 54 inches wide by 75 inches long. Full is the US term, Double is commonly used in the UK, Australia and Canada. Both terms describe the same mattress dimensions. Our Full and Double mosquito nets fit either terminology — the bed size is identical.
Are Full size mosquito nets available in cotton?
Yes — our cotton box nets are available in Double/Full size. Machine washable, 100% natural cotton with 256 holes per square inch and a run-proof weave. The cotton box creates a beautiful four poster canopy effect over a Full or Double bed. Contact us to confirm current availability in your preferred style.
Can a round mosquito net fit a Full size bed?
Yes — our standard round net fits Twin, Full and Single beds comfortably. It hangs from a single ceiling hook directly above the centre of the mattress. If you have a Full bed and are choosing between box and round, the round net is the simpler installation and creates a beautiful romantic canopy effect.
Is a Double bed mosquito net suitable for one person or two?
A Double or Full bed is typically a solo bed — occasionally used by couples who prefer a smaller sleeping space. For a couple sharing a Full/Double bed, a box net is the more practical choice as it has four openings, one on each side. For solo sleepers, either style works well.
How do you hang a box mosquito net on a Double bed?
Install four ceiling hooks positioned above each corner of the Double/Full mattress. Measure carefully — the hooks should form a rectangle matching your mattress dimensions exactly. Attach the corner ties of the net to each hook using cord or line, adjusting the length until the net hangs level with straight vertical walls on all sides. See our full installation guide for step-by-step instructions.
What is the most affordable mosquito net for a Full size bed?
Our Polyester Box net in Double/Full size is our most affordable structured bed canopy option. It provides 100% mosquito protection, is machine washable and creates an elegant four poster canopy effect. For an even more budget-friendly option, our standard round polyester net fits Full beds and requires only one ceiling hook.
